Welcome to BaghinDhara: Stream of the Tigress
A Forest Clarity Sanctuary
A private wildlife friendly retreat for slow living, deep rest, and mind clearing. Where burnout dissolves, ideas revive, and clarity emerges naturally — near Kanha Tiger Reserve, with wildlife, beside a stream, with nothing you must do. Observe stillness, enjoy culture, immerse in crafts, watch wild tigers, and reconnect with your being!

Why BaghinDhara?
BaghinDhara was born from a passion for wildlife and a commitment to conservation. It was created with the belief that a forest retreat should do more than offer comfort -- it should help people experience the landscape in a meaningful way and contribute to protecting it.
Here, your stay is designed not only around seeing wildlife, but around understanding what goes into saving nature. From watching wild tigers and reading signs of the forest on safaris, to hearing alarm calls around the property, noticing tracks and movement in the landscape, and even spotting wildlife right from the comfort of the retreat, the forest is never far away. Your experience includes visiting villages, learning local crafts, and communicating with locals to see how conservation and livelihoods are deeply connected.
BaghinDhara offers all of this in a complete private and premium setting, with only one guest group booking (8 people maximum, 1 person minimum) at a time -- ensuring your experience remains personal, quiet, and immersive.
Most importantly, your stay directly supports our conservation work through The Nature People Network. Guests can choose a conservation project or species they would like their visit to support, making every stay part of something larger than travel.

Real Safari Stories
“My stay at BaghinDhara was simply magical. This was one of the most educational experiences I've ever had. At 84 you don't get to see many things for the first time. And yet, I saw things here that I had never seen before. It completely changed how I see India, and I believe more people should experience this!”
Jim Bishop
“I loved every moment of my safari experience. The guides were knowledgeable, and the food was exquisite. It was especially fun to hear jungle stories during fireside chats, and loved learning local crafts! I can't wait to return!”
Aditya Soni
“From watching tigers to going on bird walks, I am taking a lot back from my visit.”
